A carefully considered coastal development on the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall - Photography + CGIs for Koha Architects.
Situated on a breathtaking part of the Heritage Coast, and deep within the Roseland area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) - the Pendower Beach Hotel has a long history going back in to the 1930s, with the existing hotel built around a farmhouse dating back to the 16th century.
Working closely with the architects, a series of photomontages and computer generated images were completed to showcase a new proposal for the site, with an aim to bring the hotel back to it’s former glory - while remaining in keeping with the special character and nature of the location.

Visiting the site with the team from Koha, we sought to find a variety of viewpoints which would offer the public an honest representation - while also showcasing the highlights of the proposal.
With aerial imaging support from fly+webb, we captured over 400 images and photogrammetry data including references for local natural materials and flora.

Whist incorporating the new development, the images were also enhanced with entourage, adjustments to skies and minor tweaks to the surrounding area such as removing unsightly elements of the current context due for demolition.
